Job Description

Great opportunity for Admin Assistant to work within the HR/Recruitment department for this Chester le Street based client. The right individual will be able to assist and maintain the day to day running of the office, working successfully within this friendlyteam.Some of the main responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that the recruitment system is up to date and make additional updates where required
  • Maintain and save relevant files in accordance with department procedures
  • To attend meetings where required
  • Request references for new employees and chase recruitment info where required
  • Be able to liaise with the team and staff
  • Use Sage to update employee information
  • To scan and photocopy documents when necessary
  • Produce letters/emails to confirm interview stages for candidates and send employment packs when successful
  • Assist with hospitality of on site visitors
  • To keep up to date on legislation/regulation updates involved with recruitment and HR
You will need to be customer focused and be able to deliver a high level of service at all times. This includes all internal/external teams and clients. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word is requiredThis is initially starting as a 3 month temporary role and will develop into a permeant role if successful£9.74 per hour, PAYE (Holiday accrued on top)3 months with the potential to go permanentYou must have access to a car as there is very limited public transport nearby
