Job Description

We are working with a long standing client of Si recruitment located in Chester-Le-Street who is looking to appoint a skilled administrator on a full time permanent basis from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.As the successful candidate you will oversee a wide range of general administrative duties, as well as assisting in the day to day running of the office.Responsibilities:

  • Typing of letters, emails, reports, tenders, and presentations
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets
  • Diary management and arranging meetings
  • Assisting with all ongoing projects
  • Reception duties including answering the telephone, dealing with queries, redirecting calls as necessary and taking messages; greeting visitors; managing meeting rooms and arranging refreshments where necessary
  • Opening and distribution of incoming post; delivering outgoing post to local po office/franked mail post box
  • Photocopying, scanning, archiving & electronic filing
  • Invoicing using Sage Coretime
  • Assisting the Director to manage the office on a day-to-day basis including facilities management, ordering stationery, undertaking fire checks and managing petty cash etc.
Key Skills:
  • Audio typing skills to a high standard are essential
  • General knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good standard of written English writing
  • Professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Good level of numeracy with attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise your own work load whilst using your own initiative
  • Posess a positive outlook
  • Experience within a professional services organisation preferred, but not essential
