Job Description

Nursery AssistantChester & Ellesmere PortUp to £13 per hourAt Excell Supply, we are an Education Supply Agency, who supply teachers and teaching assistants to schools on a long- and short-term basis. This can be anything from day-to-day cover to long term contracts in school. The areas we cover include North Wales,Cheshire, Wirral and Shropshire. We have been established since 2011 and have a passion for finding our Teachers and Teaching assistants their ideal roles.The RoleWe are currently looking for Nursery Assistants to work in Early Years and Nursery settings in the Chester and Ellesmere Port area. We have a variety of long- and short-term work available, depending on your requirements.

  • As a Nursery Assistant your role and responsibilities include:
  • Providing support to nursery age children
  • Promoting good behaviour / managing challenging behaviour
  • Aiding pupils in their learning as effectively as possible
  • Helping children with additional educational needs
  • Creating a safe environment for children to play and learn.
  • Administrative and general housekeeping tasks
What we are looking forTo be considered for these roles, you will need to be someone who has a caring and nurturing personality, who is able to build rapport with children, but also effectively manage challenging behaviour.A childcare qualification would be ideal but not essential and experience working with children under the age of 5 would be preferred.What we can offer you
