Groups Flights Travel consultantWe currently have a new opportunity in Chester to work specialising in groups as an Airfares Consultant for a tour operator selling solely to the trade, tour operators and travel agents. Ideally from a flights reservations background we are seeking someonewith excellent Fares experience on a major GDS - either Amadeus or Sabre or Galileo and flight reservation experience with groups knowledge or someone who would like to train into groups with gds experience.As a Groups Flights Travel Consultant you will have:-Experience from a flight brokers or tour operator flights department, a travel agent or travel agency, where you have had to book schedule fares or from a Business Travel background working on the airfares team or ticketing team perhaps.-Excellent fares knowledge - Some groups knowledge or an interest in progressing to groups -Experience using the GDS Amadeus or Sabre or GalileoThe role of GroupsAirfares Travel Consultant will involve: -- Dealing with Travel Agents, tour operators or similar via telephone and e-mail- Selling Round the World and multi-sector itineraries- Assisting with group enquires from agents- Assisting with pre-departure enquires to include reissues and refunds- Issuing schedule Airline ticketsOther info:In return you will expect to earn a salary of £24-25k a year with an OTE of around 30k+ depending on experienceAs an airfares consultant you will be required to work between Mon - Fri 9am - 5.45 and 1 in 4 Saturdays or more if you prefer .Interested To apply for this Groups Airfares Travel consultant role, please e-mail your CV to apply online or call Kelly on quoting KR57016Dont keep a good thing to yourselfWe grow our business through referrals, so please dont keep us to yourself.
