Hardware Design Engineer opportunity on offer within a rapidly growing company with a proven track record in career development allowing future growth into managerial positions.Established over 40 years ago this defence contractor specialise in the design, manufacture and implementation of underwater, land and military communications systems. Having recently undergone expansion they are now looking for an additional Hardware Design Engineer to oversee and manage the development of new product lines from cradle to grave.In this role you will need to be creative; undertaking design projects through to manufacture optimising hardware functionality within Electronic/Electrical systems for application across a wide variety of MOD projects. Other duties will include occasional travel to client sites worldwide developing detailed technical proposals as well as managing and mentoring your own well-established projects team.The ideal candidate will be a Hardware Design Engineer who has undertaken multi-disciplinary design projects from cradle to grave.
