Band 6 Dietitian Adult Dietetics Services Following the recent expansion of posts within the department we are offering the opportunity for a Band 6 Dietitian to join the team on a fixed term basis in the first instance. This post is a great opportunity to further develop skills as a specialist clinician within an established team working across a number of specialist areas.We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative Dietitian with excellent communication skills to support our rapidly expanding inpatient team. There will be an opportunity to develop your skills particularly in the areas of nutritional support and MDT working. The post will cover a wide variety of inpatient dietetics and applications for part time working will be considered and we would be delighted to discuss this with you further.The Dietetic department is managed jointly with the Speech and Language Therapy Department offering collaborative ways of working, particularly with patient’s suffering from dysphagia. The Dietetics team has specialities in Diabetes, Bariatric surgery, Paediatrics, as well as acute and community nutrition support. There are excellent relations with the multidisciplinary teams throughout the trust.The department is strongly committed to Clinical Governance and Continuing Professional development with an excellent support and clinical supervision structure in place.
