Permanent, full time opportunityFolkstone, KentUp to £50,000 p.a. plus substantial bonusWe are currently supporting a well established and highly regarded distribution business with their search for a Commercial Manager. This is a newly created opportunity, available due to consistent and continuous business growth.Key duties will include:~ Day to day management of internal sales team of 6, ensuring KPIs are hit / exceeded ~ Manage, schedule and coach sales and marketing teams to meet sales objectives~ Reporting to the Company directors re. key growth areas ~ Oversee all marketing activity ensuring it fits with the marketing strategy ~ Set sales and marketing KPI’s to manage activity within the teams ~ Continuously identify sales, revenue and efficiency opportunities ~ Oversee planning and budgetary control for all digital activities ~ Training of the sales team on effective technique and giving advice ~ Oversee email and social media activity to maximise engagement ~ Track website conversion rates and recommend improvements ~ Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness ~ Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data In order to be successful you will need:~ Strong commercial and entrepreneurial approach to business development ~ All round sales and marketing experience gained from a similar organisation ~ Ability to inspire performance with excellent motivational and leadership skills ~ Reward driven with a demonstrable desire to succeed ~ Ideally possessing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field ~ Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in marketing or sales ~ Strong analytical, organisational and creative thinking skills ~ Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills ~ Knowledge of data analysis and report writing Ability to work under pressure
