Job Description

Job title: Security Administration Analyst - Risk/Governance (Infrastructure and IT Security)Location: ChelmsfordContract until the end of 2020Day Rate: Upto £450 per day inside IR35An international insurance provider are seeking a talented Recertification IT Security Administration Analyst to help run manual controls for the business.This person provides assurance on Security Administration Management Compliance and Attestation operations as directed by the IT Security Administration Manager.The primary responsibility will be the execution of security processes and reviews, providing support to the infrastructure run team to make sure the appropriate level of protection to the insurance providers information and systems is in place and controls are operated effectively.Daily Duties:

  • Operate daily IT Security Administration Management business as usual tasks and compliance checks.
  • Assist in the Monitoring of the organizations controls for operational effectiveness.
  • Assist in investigations in the control failures and identify root cause and required remediation activity
  • Operate Controls in line with company policy and regulatory requirements across multiple domains and multiple operating systems.
  • Review evidence provided to confirm validity and assess against defined control requirements.
  • Assist in monthly metrics to make sure they are completed on time and challenge any metrics that are not within tolerance.
  • Assist with providing evidence for audits where required across multiple domains and operating systems.
  • Research the latest information technology (IT) security trends with regards to IDAM.
  • Recommend security administration enhancements to management or senior IT staff.
  • Support the planning and delivery of the information security strategy.
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders including business teams at, the Security Administration manager and strategic suppliers and other member of the internal technology teams such as CTO and Information Security.
    • Person Specification:Proven Risk, Governance and compliance IT Security experience is essential along with holding at least one qualification to include: CompTIA Security+, CISA, CRISC, CISM, ISO27001 or CISSPIt is essential to have ITGC control, IAM and JML compliance experienceInsurance industry (preferred) or other financial services industry experience is essentialAble to demonstrate an understanding of managing the trade-offs that may be necessary between concept and delivery.IT literate, understand active directory, and having strong data analytical skills are essentialShould have experience with auditing and risk management.Able to produce appropriate documents that articulate the vision / solutions in an accessible and business friendly manner.Demonstrated experience in managing and negotiating changes and challenges.Able to demonstrate bringing together a group to solve problems and post problem analysis.Must have a solid understanding of IT security administration
