Job Description

It is the responsibility of our clients Product Team to ensure they deliver well designed, scalable, and high-quality software that will delight their customers and fuel their growth. They are an open-source software house, primarily JavaScript at presentbut migrating to Typescript with React and Node.js, utilising NoSQL solutions and cloud storage alongside containerised services (Docker and Kubernetes) to create their products.The Product Owner should have extensive hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, be able to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team. You should have excellent organisation and problem-solving skills. Youshould lead by example in being courteous, proactive, helpful, and respectful with everyone around you.RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRODUCT OWNERBridge the divide between business and technology ensuring their development teams are building the right product or enhancing with the right features at the right time.

  • Manage the full product lifecycle, working closely with design, user research, dev and product marketing.
  • Develop thorough requirements for each product and feature build, including user stories, workflows, and business requirements.
  • Propose improvements to existing features, communicate and prioritise these changes alongside other development priorities.
  • Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of product releases, including ensuring the delivered products are fit for purpose and in the spirit of the original client need, communicating product updates to internal and external stakeholders.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF THE PRODUCT OWNERRequired:
  • Several years experience in a similar BA or Product Owner focussed role.
  • An ability to take responsibility for your and the teams output is essential.
  • Driven, curious and proactive.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and managing timelines.
  • Able to analyse data to make informed decisions Be detail and design oriented, always thinking of the user experience Experienced working within an agile environment.
  • Organised and possess strong communication and presentation skills.
Desirable:
  • Experience working in Healthcare.
  • Previous EDMS experience.
  • Market Research experience.
