Job Description

Field Service EngineerPermanentChelmsfordSalary – CompetitiveHours - Monday to Friday (Fully Remote) + overtime available ( 40 hours per week)Service Engineer / Repairs / Diagnostics / Heavy Plant Machinery Repairs / Problem Solving / Chelmsford / Mechanical / Electrical / Hydraulics The recruitment group is proud to be working with a global brand that provides world-class customer service to all their customers along with manufacturing the highest quality diggers around the world.Purpose of the Field Service Engineer This role will be working remotely and will entail visiting customers sites to deliver service, maintenance, and repairs of the heavy plant machinery.This will be a customer-facing role and the objective is to find the solution and deliver a first-class service.Benefits of the Field Service Engineer

Main duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer
  • Machine diagnostics
  • Analysing and investigating, ability to gather information systematically to establish facts for problem solving
  • Machine servicing and repairs
  • Promote and present a professional image and offer a service solution to the customers.
  • Frequently liaising with the manufacturing sites
  • Ordering parts and rectifying machine issues
  • Mechanical and electrical fault finding
Experience/knowledge requirements for the Field Service Engineer
  • NVQ Level 2, 3 or equivalent and have experience in the construction, HGV or agriculture heavy plant machinery sectors including servicing and maintenance then this could be the role for you.
  • Experience on hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions manual and power shift, cam-bus electrical systems and working on heavy plant machinery or equivalent
  • Portfolio of certification/achievements required.
  • Full UK driving license required.
