Job Description

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work inCheadle on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with theHCPC.The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £33,330 per annum (Assignment rate)Main Duties:

  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a well-rounded, personalised approach to each patients care
  • Providing assessment and treatment of a designated case load within the frame work of an established rehabilitation programme.
  • Applying patient-centred principles to assessment, intervention and evaluation.
  • Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy process in line with sound evidence-based practice.
  • Participation in MDT, CPA, case conferences, referral meetings and nursing handover.
  • Ongoing development of skills and knowledge, through participation in CPD and Professional Development Planning.
  • Line-management and supervision of two Technical Instructors.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
  • Experience gained within a related clinical or therapeutic environment.
  • Experience managing a caseload of service users with complex needs
