Evolve are looking for a motivated and driven Cloud Accountant/Bookkeeper to aid transformation and development in our Accountancy Practice.Evolve Tax & Accountancy LLP was established 14 years ago and operates from four offices across East Anglia. This full time, permanent role will be based between our two Cambridgeshire offices in Chatteris and Fordham.The role will include preparation of bookkeeping, VAT returns, income & expenditure reports and accounts, whilst supporting clients with running their businesses and improving their record keeping.The ideal candidate will be organised and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement, as we continue to implement new systems and advance towards a paperless, cloud-based practice. You will have experience of Xero accounting software (Quickbooks alsoconsidered with a view to re-training in Xero as a Certified Advisor). Youll be able to quickly learn new systems and ensure we are using them to their full potential, continually identifying areas to drive efficiencies. Experience of other integrated appssuch as Dext Prepare (formerly ReceiptBank) and Hubdoc would be an advantage, but training can be provided.Effective communication skills are essential as you will promote the benefits of regular bookkeeping internally and externally and train clients in the use of cloud accounting, including data capture apps. You will also assist colleagues internally withsoftware support.You must be able to display initiative and act decisively when necessary for a client.
