VMware Engineer - £575 PD - 6 Month - Hybrid WorkingOverview:An exciting opportunity for a VMware Engineer to join a leading financial corporation, our client is seeking a hands on VMware engineer with strong capabilities in VSphere, Vcentre and Windows Server 2016+. If you have any enterprise architectural capabilitiesthis would be highly advantageous, as you will have the opportunity to assist with constructing LLDs as our client embarks on a Greenfield cloud transformation. Role & Responsibilities:Investigate alerts for DELL and HP Hardware failures and VM Ware.VDI Support, Analyse the performance of both server and VMs using tools available.Windows server administration & support skillsWorking on an Assignment of BAU tickets Incidents and Work Orders, BAU Improvements and projects works on a rotation basis, this includes any support of the daily meetings and service management support, any service impacting incidents and driving the outcomein investigation.Active Directory, Group Policy DELL & HP and VMWare administration.Installing, configuring and administering vCentre Platforms and DELL & HP Configuration using best practices.Problem Solve complex issues & IT problems.Essential Skills & Experience: VMware VCP 6.0 Windows Server 2016 Active Directory and Group Policy skillsExperience with vSphere 6, 6.5 & 6.7 multi-site configurations and PSC managementStorage configuration skills (NFS, iSCSI in vSphere etc.)vSphere performance monitoring and Right-SizingStrong understanding of Network fundamentals with Virtual networking experiencePackage: £575 per day inside IR356 month rolling contractHybrid working with weekly office presence VMware Engineer - £575 PD - 6 Month - Hybrid Working
