Job Description

A great opportunity to join a collaborative and dynamic team delivering instruction in Construction Materials Technology at a unique training facility in Chatham, Kent.Are you an enthusiastic and committed individual, with strong communication skills, a passion to train others and prepared to extend your own skills and knowledgeExcellent benefits which include:

Your role:
  • Deliver training at Level 3 and Level 5 in Construction Materials Technology.
  • Deliver training in materials laboratory testing of soils, aggregates and concrete and design (training can be provided).
  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Complete a full teacher training qualification within the first 3 years of contract commencement (full teacher training package will be provided)
Additional experience to support your application:
  • Knowledge and experience of British Standard laboratory testing
  • Experience of working within a laboratory setting
  • Knowledge of earth work construction materials
  • Formal or informal teaching roles
  • Knowledge & experience of e-learning and e-assessment tools
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Applications
