Job Description

As a Personal Assistant, you will be the Medical Directors right hand person, assisting them to support the needs ofFarmfield Hospitalin Charlwood.Supporting the Medical Director, you will provide detailed and confidential administrative and secretarial support to ensure Farmfield Hospitalcontinues to run smoothly and those at the service receivegreat healthcare.Youll be responsible for managing their dairy, organising meetings, visits and venues, and when present be able to promptly minute take.You will be able to utilise your skill set within a healthcare environment as you createpresentations for meetings, manage on-call rotas and liaise with external parties and agencies.Your Responsibilities:

  • To prioritise work according to the changing demands of the Medical Director
  • To assist in the management of the Medical Director’s diary, i.e. organising meetings
  • To liaise with the Mental Health Act Administration service as required
  • To manage the CPA Administration process effectively and efficiently.
  • To organise the rolling programme of CPA Meetings (with input from the Multi-Disciplinary Team)
  • Collect all relevant information for the CPA form from all departments.Once this information has been received pass to the relevant Primary Nurse and Patient to sign and return the CPA form
To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Secretarial qualification / experience
  • 4 GCSE at Grade C or above (including English and Mathematics) or equivalent.
  • Word Processing skills 50 wpm
  • Medical terminology
  • Demonstrable experience of minute taking
  • be able to work in a busy environment and prioritise workload.
  • Excellent telephone manner and organisational skills
