Job Description

Marketing ManagerThis well established,UK Manufacturerof high end,contractfurnitureis seeking a hands-on, experiencedMarketing Managerto lead the direction of the marketing function across the business. Reporting to the MD, you will fully utilize your generalist marketing skills (including the full Adobe suite) to promote the Brand to drive its continued growth through multi-channel marketing campaigns. Your role will be to keep the business and its range of quality workplace furniture products ahead of the competitors! The Role:The post requires a strong ability to manage, but also ‘do’ all aspects of styling, catalogue production, overseeing photoshoots, website frontend design oversight, innovative creative of digital content and social media content and monitoring. It may particularlysuit somebody from the workplace furniture / contract furniture / office furniture industry, architecture, interior design, or a product design background.

  • Manage marketing calendar and develop and deliver marketing strategy.
  • Support sales through the creation of digital and printed content, requiring full use of the Adobe suite including InDesign.
  • Write all copy for website, technical cards, social posts, press releases, newsletters, presentations, impact reports etc. Develop tone of voice for all written word to elevate corporate identity, ensuring vocabulary remains culturally sensitive.
  • Manage all digital platforms and marketing tools: website, social channels and newsletters.
  • Update annual pricelists, work with Design to rationalise or expand collection and finishes and update all assets following changes.
  • Keep abreast of workplace and design trends, workplace behaviour change and market shifts. Benchmark competitors for routes to market, trends, narrative.
  • Manage all new product to market including photoshoots, videography, renders, press releases, showroom launches and events, social media campaigns, creation of image packs, liaising with branding agency, stylists and designers.
  • Build stills and film library using photography, film, renders, animations.
  • Liaise with Sales, Design and Sustainability departments to ensure marketing includes all key narratives.
  • Handle all press enquiries, editorial and advertorial, write and circulate press releases, book and manage advertising.
  • Enter relevant industry awards, promote successes, organise awards evening attendance.
  • Manage all events including factory visits, trade events, parties including all F&B, window display, guest lists, event registrations, designer talks etc. Manage all partnerships and collaborations.
  • Work with customer base to collate project images and promote across digital channels.

  • Great story telling-ability and top notch copywriting and editing skills

  • Sharp eye for design and detail & strong commercial instincts
  • Keen sensitivity to cultural change
  • Ability to work quickly but maintain standards

  • Excellent people skills
  • Competent in Adobe Creative Suite
Associated Benefits:This is a newly created role, and dependent on your experience and any associated industry experience, the salary could be anywhere £40-60000Hybrid working possible, minimum of 3 days in the business in Somerset requiredWorking Hours: 8-5.30 Monday to Friday
