Job Description

We are looking to appoint a Facilities Manager who has a wealth of experience under their belt and is looking for a company who can provide them with new opportunities and career progression. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Sheffield site but will be required to travel from site-to-site, and in return,receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.Our Facilities Manager will be working alongside our Facilities Advisor and Head of Facilities to make sure the daily running of all sites based facilities is functioning by ensuring that all aspects of our facilities are meeting the requiredlegal guidelines. You will be responsible for seeing the overall planning, coordination and delivery of activities to ensure the smooth running and upkeep of all our sites, and will have support from the Facilities Advisor. You will be welcomed into our BusinessSupport team who are forward-thinking and encourage one another to create innovative solutions to issues.Responsibilities of our Facilities Manager will include:

  • Creatingbudgets for planned preventative maintenance for our individual sites whist also managing any renovations, refurbishments and building projects
  • Overseeing contractors and engagingwith vendors
  • Producing the monthly conditions report for each site to ensure budgetary assumptions are correct and if any require review
  • Helping withimplementation measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
  • Coordinatingroutine maintenance repairs, and schedulingrenovations
  • EnsuringHealth, Safety & Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitated
What we are looking for in our Facilities Manager:
  • A driving licence is essential as there will be a requirement to travel to our sites
  • Experience with facility management and relevant regulations
  • Environmental qualification/experience of ISO 14001 implementation would be an advantage
  • A previous role within environmental services and Facilities management would be necessary
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
