Job Description

Seeking a Fostering Social Worker to work in a IFA in the West Midlands.Qualifications / Training:It is essential that the post holder has:

  • Social Worker Qualification and is HCPC registered
  • High level of applied literacy, numeracy and IT
    • Experience / KnowledgeIt is essential that the post holder has:-
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in social care
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience of working with IT, especially MS Office or equivalent, email and use of database recording case file, excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and so on.
    • Skills / AbilitiesIt is essential that the post holder has:-
  • An ability to work on their own initiative and be self-motivated
  • An ability to work effectively within a Team
  • An ability to prioritise own and others workload
  • An ability to solve problems and provide solutions
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to communicate with team, customers and foster carers
