Job Description

Maths Teacher – SEMH - Are you a Maths Teacher with a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to education. Do you want to inspire a love for maths and help students to understand the real-world applications This outstanding Alternative Provisionis looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to teach small classes of children with SEMH needs. As a Maths teacher you will be teaching classes of no more than 10 students and will receive outstanding support from TA’s and Behaviour Mentors, allowing you to focuson lessons that stretch and engage students.In this role you will be teaching Maths up to GCSE with the support of an excellent and committed leadership team. This role requires a QTS or QTLS Maths Teacher with confident classroom management skills. Job Role:

  • Teaching Maths to small groups of students with SEMH needs
  • Breaking down academic barriers
  • Making maths interesting for students who have become disengaged with education
  • Utilising a team of experienced Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support
