***IT Support EngineerPermanent opportunity-Belfast £25,000-£35,000***REED Technology Belfast are delighted to be working with a renowned brand who are experiencing great growth, with this growth they are looking a new IT support engineer to join their award-winning team.This is an exciting time to join this business as they currently in period of transition, they are currently undergoing a digital transformation process that has been heavily invested in to ensure a positive customer experience from beginning to end.The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the Team be responsible for a broad set of responsibilities including (but not limited to): Addressing 1st and 2nd Line Service Requests and Incidents Operation of the help desk function, ensuring all users are provided with professional, prompt and friendly service Assisting in the provision of hardware and software support across multiple sites Day to day administration and ongoing maintenance of IT and communication systems Performing hardware and software installations and ensuring they are maintained regularly Monitoring systems healthon premises and cloud based Troubleshooting and fixing infrastructure and application issues Applying security best practices Understanding and supporting tasks based on department and company goals Educating company teams on the use of cloud applications and servicesEssential Skills & Experience: Technical ability of: Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Servers, AD. GPO. networking, problem solving Networking experienceDHCP/DNS/VLANs. Management of Hardware and Software Installation & preparation of IT equipment inc. software/hardware upgrade/installation requests as needed Telephony and mobile phone support Windows 10/11/O365, Android and iOS devices. Appreciate the importance of high availability systems/infrastructure. Solid understanding of cloud environmentsadministration, security, storage, compute - (Azure, AWS) Automation and monitoring experienceN-Able, PowerShell, PowerAutomate, Nagios etc Firewall / Switching experience Server and Desktop Virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware) Phone system administrationMitel, Avaya, Ringcentral etc.Desirable Criteria: Microsoft Server Technologies (Exchange, Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SQL, Teams voice) A good understanding of High Availability strategies, both Cloud and on-prem Exposure to Microsoft power platforms Strong ITIL understanding or certification Experience with DR/BCPAs a successful IT support Engineer, you will benefit from: An attractive salary - DOE Employee Pension scheme Employee Discount scheme Company laptop and phone Onsite ParkingIf you are interested in this role please get in contact with Justin Maxwell @ REED Belfast or apply now!
