The Senior Helath Promotion Officer will primarily work across structures in the North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership area (HSCNL) although will work across Lanarkshire as required.The post has a lead topic role in raising awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) which includes coordinating the pan Lanarkshire ACEs Champions Network and associated work streams.This post holder will hold a strategic role in working with partners in planning, developing, and monitoring delivery of a range of Children’s Services Health Improvement projects that contribute to numerous organisational and partner priorities to address inequalities and improve health outcomes in the North Lanarkshire area.The post provides leadership contribution on strategic pan North Lanarkshire themes, such as children’s services, ACEs, and child poverty planning. The main drivers of the work is focused on prevention, early intervention, and addressing and reducing inequalities.The Senior Health Promotion Officer will work within NHSL and partner agencies across a range of priority outcomes to support the process of setting realistic outcomes with specific aims and showing the difference that programmes are making by measuring the impact following implementation of change packages.Represent HSCNL/NHS Lanarkshire Health Improvement on a number of Children’s Services strategic planning/governance groups in North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership and play an active role in the delivery of the NL Children’s Services Partnership Children’s Services Plan, Child Poverty Plan, NHS Lanarkshire’s Children and Young People’s Health Plan, and other key drivers.To liaise with counterparts in the South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership area to ensure learning is shared and work is rolled out pan-Lanarkshire wherever possible.Should you wish to discuss the posts in more detail please contact Colin Anderson, Senior Health Improvement Manager on.If you have any queries regarding the application form or recruitment process, please contact Recruitment on.Please note: we anticipate a high level of interest in this position and may close the advert once a sufficient amount of applications are received.
