Job Description

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.Please note this is a fixed term post until 30/9/2021This Post is to be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering the Healthy Lifestyle in Pregnancy Service , as a Dietitian forMaternal and Infant Nutrition your role is to act as an expert practitioner selecting, assessing, planning and delivering evidence based, nutrition and dietetic care to patients within a specialist field. In general, to act as a source of expertise for patients, within the speciality, other health care professionals, GPs and Consultants.The successful candidate must be a Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level with Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently, showing evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification . You must need a comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice., Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative.Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills and effective time management are essential.Working knowledge of basic information technologyFull Uk Driving Licence is essential.Informal enquiries regarding the post will be welcomed by Susan Short, Public Health Nutritionist ,Maternal and Infant Nutrition Lead or If you have any queries regarding the application form or recruitment process, please contact Linsey Norton Recruitment Administrator/onPlease note: we anticipate a high level of interest in this position and may close the advert once a sufficient amount of applications are received.
