Job Description

Superb permanent opportunity for a fluent Welsh speaker to join a leading company in the centre of Cardiff to support the Chief Executive, Chairperson and Council members by co-ordinating agendas, maintaining Council records and taking formal minutesof meetings along with supporting the HR function. Excellent benefits package including flexible working hours, hybrid role 3 office/2 home, 31 days hols plus bank hols and 2 privilege days along with a superb pension schemeKey Responsibilities:Support to Council, its members and committees by:Taking the lead in developing the Councils calendar of dates and meeting agendas, organise and facilitate meetingsDrafting Council and committee papers and distributing meeting agendasTaking minutes of meetings for Council and its committees, and other meetings as requiredIdentify and coordinate relevant training for Council members including induction training and annual trainingHR and Corporate Services supportProvide comprehensive bilingual administrative support to the HR functionAssist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff membersAssist in the delivery of the all staff training programme and the staff wellbeing programme, including communications and the organisation and promotion of eventsProvide comprehensive bilingual administrative support to the officeWhat is needed:Fluent Welsh speakerExperience of formal minute writingExcellent organisational and administrative skillsStrong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office packages
