Job Description

My client is a highly respected Transport planning and Highway Engineering Consultancy who offer expert services throughout Wales and England. Their extensive range of services include site appraisals, transport assessments, travel plans and detailed designsof highway works. With a positive outlook on future workload they are seeking a talented Transport Planner to join their Cardiff office.Requirements

  • UK experience in a relevant consultancy environment
  • Good understanding of computer aided software including AutoCAD and AutoTrack
  • Ability to work from home with limited supervision
  • Knowledge of section agreements including S106 and S278
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
The Role
  • Producing transport assessments and reports
  • Undertaking site appraisals and feasibility assessments
  • Preparing travel plans as well as traffic management plans during construction
  • Carrying out detailed highway works designs
  • Utilising knowledge of section agreements to ensure approval from relevant regulatory bodies and local authorities
  • Collaborating in a team of mixed professionals ensuring high quality and accuracy of detailed designs, reports and assessments
