Job Description

Team Supervisor - German Speaking (Travel Sector)Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Plus excellent benefit package and a great performance bonus!Hybrid - must be able to get to Central London 2 days at least in office.Our client is the global market leader in lifestyle and travel services. In this position you will be responsible for a team of Travel Consultants (German speaking team). In your function, you report to the Head of Operations. To complement our team in Londonwe are looking for a professional, motivated, and dedicated Manager with 3-5 years’ experience within the travel sector.

  • In this role you will be responsible for a team of approximately 6-8 Travel Managers and report to the Head of Travel.
  • You will be responsible for the achievement of qualitative and quantitative targets including monthly performance measurement, development of action plans as well as training and coaching.
  • You will develop your employees and ensure that development plans are in place and implemented.
  • You know and understand the needs of our demanding clientele and ensure that we can fulfil their wishes with the right know-how and tailor-made offers or exceed their expectations.
  • You maintain a regular exchange with specialist colleagues from other offices and use the global know-how to continuously develop the service quality and the offers for our customers.
Requirements
  • You have a cooperative management style and several years of management experience.
  • Must have knowledge of Global Distribution System such as Amadeus / Sabre / Galileo
  • You have very good written and spoken communication skills and have very high-quality standards.
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English (knowledge of French is an advantage)
  • You are a determined, dynamic, and highly motivated person.

(This position is a 40-hour work week with day / evening shifts. Shifts are either Tuesday - Saturday / Sunday - Thursday; between the hours of 8:00 - 21:00 GMT / with at least one late shift per week 12:00pm-9:00pm)
