A start up FinTech business in South Wales are seeking a dynamic Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their Test Team. The position will collaborate with developers and testers at every SDLC stage, ensuring top-quality software. Create AutomationFrameworks, take on complex tasks, and push for high standards.Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Key Responsibilities:
  • Design robust Automation Frameworks for complex software components.
  • Execute complex automation testing tasks and work on comprehensive test frameworks.
  • Apply industry standards and tools.
  • Participate in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues work.
  • Review, verify and improve own designs against specifications.
  • Work with other team members to grow own development skills
  • Perform manual testing as needed.
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) key skills:
  • Build automation frameworks (Selenium/Cypress with Python)
  • Proficiency in BDD tools (Gherkin, Behave)
  • API Testing with Postman.
  • Familiarity with test management tools.
  • CI/CD tools like GIT and GitLab.
  • Tracking with Jira.
  • Non-functional testing, including performance testing.
