Job Description

Senior Digital Analyst Location: The HQ is based in Cardiff, but hybrid/remote opportunities can be discussed.Salary: We do not have a set salary for this position, as it will be dependent on the successful candidates experience.About Admiral MoneyAdmiral Money (AFSL) is an exciting, new division of Admiral Group. We have the freedom and innovation of a small start up with the security of a large parent company, Admiral.The journey started when we launched unsecured personal loans in June 2017. We went on to be the first direct to consumer car finance provider in December 2017. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength and have some exciting plans for the future.Were looking for people who are keen to learn, excited about getting stuck in and are ready for a challenge to help us to achieve our aim of creating a special lending business for our customers.About the roleThis role is a subset of the wider data capability being delivered by AFSL and focusing entirely on the digital journeys our customers take and requires a solid understanding of marketing data and its application to design, delivery and iteration of ourdigital customer experience. Youll be highly focused on Google Analytics, Content Square and Amazon Connect data whilst supporting data from Optimizely, our MVT platform and our upcoming communications platform.Responsibilities

  • Own the Digital Analytics architecture in conjunction with our Data architects and Digital Leadership Team ensuring that we have robust data capture and analytical data to feed insight
  • Own the tagging delivery across our digital journeys, feeding into development requirements the relevant code insertion requirements as well as ensuring that Product Owners place data collection high in the list of priorities within feature creation
  • Evaluate the digital journeys continuously, focusing on surfacing insight that informs MVT hypotheses utilising Google Analytics, Content Square and Optimizely
  • Work with third party digital suppliers such as Open Banking Providers, PCWs and our Comms Platform to ensure that tagging is consistent and providing the right data and insight to inform journey optimisation
  • Focus on identifying click to conversion inhibitors and make recommendations on tests or development
  • Liaise closely with the comms specialist to fully understand our outbound communications, their impact, downstream data opportunities and liaise with development, IT and Data teams to integrate these.
  • Own the development of cohort identification in our communications platform and work with Data to create incremental opportunities
  • Provide support to the Amazon Connect workstream to surface insights for customer contact patterns, improvements and improvement data. Become the expert for Chat Bot, Messaging and SMS data
  • Own the customer monitoring data, surfacing opportunities to improve NPS, NES and liaise with our Performance Excellence Specialist to get agent feedback in a timely way.
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding and practical application of Google Analytics, GTM and supporting Digital Analytical tools
  • Ability to turn Digital and Marketing data into insight that drives change agendas.
  • Translate Digital Marketing terminology into non-technical, business language and present findings in a compelling manner.
  • Solid understanding of Digital Marketing practises, terminology and trends
  • Experience of working with development teams to identify data points within a digital journey and be able to participate in the design of tagging requirements
