There has never been a better time to join EQ.Role SummaryThe Scrum Master is part of a wider team, that consists of a Product Owner, Solution Designer, Java Developers, manual and automated QAs. We operate multiple agile streams delivering software to production multiple times a week, with cross division collaborationworking towards a common goal.Projects range from technology updates, new functionality, regulatory changes and production bug fixes for our Financial software platform. Innovation and improving ways of doing things are encouraged, where the Scrum Master and team have the freedom totry new things and introduce change.Business FunctionEquiniti Xanite build, maintain and support mission critical Share Dealing and Wealth Administration software, based in Cardiff.Core Duties/Responsibilities

• Facilitate all SCRUM events i.e. stand ups, refinement sessions, planning, sprint reviews etc.
• Facilitate the teams relationship with outside stakeholders.
• Facilitate conversations between product owner and the team regarding rebalancing and reprioritising work within a sprint.
• Manage the project risks, dependencies and issues.
• Manage the resource and budget of the team to ensure it aligns with the project budget.
• Support the self-organising, self-managing team to achieve its daily and iteration objectives.
• Support the Product Owner and business, especially with respect to requirement refinement and maintaining the backlog.
• Remove impediments to team deliverables and product goals.
• Drive cross-capability coordination and scheduling with other Scrum Masters.
• Work with management team and other leaders to continually identify and implement team process improvements.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Experience of working with multi discipline teams from 2-30 people in a SCRUM environment.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills, delivering complex change.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience of liaising between commercial and technical departments.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and competing for resources.
• Knowledge of/experience in working with different software delivery models.
• Proven ability to pull together individuals of varying technical and business abilities with different goals and facilitate productive discussion and action.
• Experience using Microsoft TFS and Trello or similar technologies.
• Certified in SCRUM.
• Experience of the financial sector would be preferable but not essential.
