Job Description

Production OperativeCardiffMonday to Thursday10:30pm to 8:30am£14.66 per hour with it raising after probation periodThe role of the Production Operative is to ensure that work is prepared, processed and inspected in accordance with requirements. The role will include a variety of tasks from preparation operations to the operation of various surface treatment processes.Responsibilities -

  • Ensure the careful handling and movement of components throughout the production process to ensure no damage occurs
  • Ensure all process and production documentation is completed accurately
  • Prepare components as instructed prior to processing
  • Perform basic racking/jigging to production parts prior to treatment
  • Unmask production parts
  • Clean components as necessary using specified materials
  • Maintain the accurate recording of components
  • Inspection of components to drawing / specification, to include some basic direct measurement techniques
Knowledge and skills -
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
