Job Description

Principal Systematic ReviewerRemote - Cardiff BasedWere working with an independent Market Access consultancy who are committed to delivering optimal outcomes for clients and for patients.As a result of internal development were looking to grow their evidence review and synthesis function which has resulted in them looking for a new Principal Systematic Reviewer to join them on a full time permanent basis, with a negotiable salary on offer. You will be working in a client facing role, which includes hands-on project and proposal work, providing a strategic overview to evidence review and synthesis projects by understanding the client perspective, offering a true partnership approach whilstalso managing the details and generating solutions. The role of Principal will utilise experience and skills in evidence synthesis review, including systematic and targeted literature reviews, feasibility assessments and network meta-analyses/indirect comparisons(NMAs /ICTs).Youll be actively promoting a strong team culture, including mentorship and scientific direction to the team, ensuring the team are supported whilst being able to work with autonomy and ownership. Quality and consistency is at the heart of their deliveryand the Principal will actively contribute to raising the bar of the evidence review and synthesis research function.Who are we looking for
  • Life Sciences degree or PhD
  • Relevant working experience in a market access or health economics/research consultancy
  • Experience of performing network meta-analysis feasibility
  • Experience of performing Bayesian network meta-analysis
  • Management/Leadership experience
  • High level technical client pitches
  • Project Management
  • A desire to pass on expertise and develop the team
  • Experience of designing and leading the following systematic reviews from inception to final reporting: clinical RCT, clinical - observational, costs and resources, economic evaluations, epidemiology and health-related quality of life.
  • It is desirable to have experience in qualitative research methods and be able to lead on projects that employs surveys, interviews and Delphi panels
