Job Description

Option for hybrid working - very flexible!The Company:Rostella is based in the heart of Cardiff and provides quality car insurance services to car insurance provider Hedgehog in the UK, and more recently travel insurance services to 1Cover in Australia. This means we provide a range of functions including customerservice, claims handling, underwriting, pricing and other car insurance related functions. Were a data-driven, agile company where everyone is expected to come up with ideas and help implement them to continually improve what we do and how we do it. Our aimis to create and maintain an industry-leading customer experience.Rostella provides pricing services to both Hedgehog and 1Cover, with both companies looking to grow their businesses. We are rapidly growing and are looking for a Policy Validation Handler to join our team. This is an excellent starting point to enter theexciting world of fraud detection. As you progress, there will be opportunities to develop your skills.While the office is based in Cardiff, the position offers the flexibility of hybrid working. Your key responsibilities:

  • Reviewing customer data to identify policies of concern
  • Reviewing documents for signs of fraud or falsification and validation of policy details
  • Contacting customers regarding their documents or necessary changes to their policy
  • Work with the underwriters to decide on a resolution to complex cases
  • Identifying where further investigation is not required and, in such cases, ensuring tasks are closed quickly to ensure genuine customers are not inconvenienced.
  • Assisting the customer service team with Live Chat
  • Responding to customer queries via email
Your skillset and experience:
  • Brilliant attention-to-detail and analytical skills with the ability to solve problems or identify concerns
  • Experienced in working as part of a team but able to make independent decisions quickly
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • An understanding of why Fraud prevention is important to the business
  • Strong people skills and ability to build relationships and communication with stakeholders across the business and externally
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Knowledge of motor insurance products and principles, and practices relating to motor insurance (Desirable)
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs including English Language and Mathematics
