Job Description

The CompanyThis market-leading fashion retailer is looking for a Stock Analyst to join their Head Office team in the West. This business has a truly omnichannel business in the fashion sector,The RoleYour role will be working with the Head of Merchandising to collate and analyze departmental and company performance data to assist Senior Management in making tactical and strategic decisions.Key accountabilities as a Merchandising Analyst include -

  • Work with Excel and other analytical tools to collate and prepare regular Management reporting i.e. Weekly Trade, Monthly WSSI, and Seasonal Trading meetings
  • Control the co-ordination collating of any ad hoc company analysis for presentations for the Senior leadership team
  • Work closely with IT to ensure merchandiser systems are continuously improved in line with the company strategy.
  • Ensure any developments from IT, Warehouse or Finance are effectively communicated to the B & M management and colleagues
  • Collaborate with Finance team constructing seasonal and annual budgets and maintain the budgetary information for the Buyers & Merchandisers
  • Maintain commercial awareness throughout the wider business and market
To be successful in this Merchandising Analyst position, you must have -
  • Operated as a Stock, Demand Supply Plan or Merchandising Analyst
  • Has experience of Power BI
  • Experience in a retail, B2C, eCommerce environment
  • Great stakeholder management
  • Is comfortable with putting together PowerPoint presentations of the analytical findings
  • Knowledge of merchandising processes & producing daily reports
  • Advanced Excel skills (Makro writing experience)
  • Strong analytical and strategic mind
