HOMELESSNESS SUPPORT WORKERIMMEDIATELYREQUIRED TO WORK IN CARDIFFLocation:CardiffHours: 40 per week (between Monday-Friday)Duration: TemporaryStart:ASAPAre you a passionate, dedicated, and motivated Housing Support Worker seeking their next rewarding and unique challengeIs so, BRC are working in partnership with a national homeless charity to recruit for an enthusiastic homeless prevention worker to start in their established Reconnection Team in central Cardiff.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality programme of support which promotes clients choice and control. They will support homeless individuals referred who have an unclear local connection to Cardiff and are in need of housingsupport. This may involve reconnecting clients to their family or friends, source for private rented accommodation, reconnect clients to their previous LA or waiver to access accommodation within Cardiff Local Authority.To be successful in this position, you will need to be proactive and persistent in your approach to preventing homelessness. You will have a good understanding of housing options (private & social housing), and the housing application process.
