Job Description

FACILITY ELECTRICAL TECHNICIANPENTWYN, CARDIFFPERMANENT 07:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday and 07:30-12:15 Friday£27,000Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are proud to be supporting Panasonic and are looking to recruit 2 x Facility Electrical Technicians for their site in Pentwyn, Cardiff - one more of a PAT testing bias across site and the other more general maintenance.Role Objective Manage and maintain the PAT compliance schedule. Support the Facilities team by completing assigned Helpdesk tasks in a timely manner, carrying out regular test, inspection and maintenance activities, whilst ensuring that the facility is compliant to healthand safety standards and working practices.Key Responsibilities

  • Portable Appliance Testing - Production and Engineering.
  • HAVS testing of power tools.
  • Provide first line response to site preventative and breakdown maintenance.
  • Fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment.
  • Installation of electrical plant equipment.
  • Carry out non-electrical duties - general maintenance and repairs of building
  • facilities.
  • Provide support for statutory compliance schedules.
  • Weekly fire safety checks.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
  • Practical experience in general building maintenance activities.
  • ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
  • 18th Edition EIT Wiring Regulations.
  • Inspection and testing certificate.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fork truck license would be advantageous.
Working Hours: Working hours are 07:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday and 07:30-12:15 FridaySalary £25,000.00 - £30,000.00 (dependant on experience).Benefits
