Job Description

EcologistCardiffWe are looking for an Ecologist to join a well established, award winning company in Cardiff. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects where youll be supported by a strong team of Ecologists, enabling you to gain valuable training andobtain protected species licences. You will be assisting the wider team in undertaking habitat and protected species surveys, assisting with data input and analysis, research and report writing.What Youll Do:

  • Conduct ecological surveys and assessments.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports for environmental impact assessments.
  • Develop and implement strategies for habitat restoration and conservation.
  • Provide expert advice on biodiversity conservation and environmental management.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
What Were Looking For:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Strong fieldwork skills and experience with ecological survey techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
