****Rare opportunity for a part time Infrastructure DevOps Engineer - 2 or 3 days per week or flex hours across the week****Fully remote UK based****Superb opportunity for mid level DevOps Engineer to join an up and coming AI Tech company.Role OverviewCollaborating with the rest of the Software Engineering Team, you will work in a few key areas:- Designing and setting up the infrastructure to underpin our SaaS offering (load balancing,auto-scaling, hot deployments)- Supporting software development processes with DevOps capabilities- Identifying areas for improvement and performing ongoing maintenance.Key Duties & Responsibilities- Deploy, maintain, and enhance cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) usingInfrastructure as Code.- Create and manage Docker containers and orchestrate them using Kubernetes or similartools.- Write scripts and automation code (e.g., Python, Shell, YAML) to simplify repetitive tasksand improve efficiency.- Configuration management.- CI/CD optimisation in Bitbucket Pipelines (including deployment of applications into devenvironments on AWS).- Advise on and implement security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments, andensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Skills profile:- Proven experience in managing Cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure) usingInfrastructure as Code (Ansible/Pulumi/Terraform) and technologies and tools such asJenkins/Bitbucket Pipelines and Docker.- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure infrastructure & cloud services (e.g. VM, Networking,Gateways, Access management, DB)- Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash/Shell).- Understanding of microservices architecture.- Solid understanding of Network protocols, security, and compliance.- Experience with software development in an Agile/Scrum environment.- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineeringor a related field.Benefits:Opportunity to work on impactful healthcare projects.Experience with an advanced AI model fusion platform.Part of a supportive, innovative team environment.Professional development opportunities in a fast-growing industry.28 days (full time pro rata) of annual holiday plus bank holidaysLife assurance and private health insurance.Statutory pension contribution.
