Job Description This opportunity is for a bachelors degree educated graduate to join the Counterparty Onboarding Team. The team supports LGIMs trading and investment activities onboarding brokers across asset classes and markets, as well as client and product teams throughthe onboarding of new funds in advance of fund launch. We are looking for a bright candidate who is keen to make the most of the variety this role offers in supporting a number of different facets of onboarding. The primary function of the Counterparty Onboarding Team is to support LGIMs trading and investment activities by ensuring all required brokers and funds, across all relevant instruments and markets, are set-up ready to support the trading and investment activity.These functions need be completed within strict launch date deadlines along with ongoing support and maintenance. Providing effective support to all key stakeholders and ensuring they are informed of the status of the set-up and monitoring the pipeline fornon-standard requirements and volume spikes is also critical. We are in a change and growth phase, one that will signify continued excellence in a collaborative and personalised approach to service with a commitment and focus on contributing to the developmentof innovative solutions designed to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the service delivery, against varying investment objectives and demands Responsibilities:

  • Set-up broker information on LGIM principal systems.
  • Coordinate the completion of relevant documentation with Custodians to open custody accounts in emerging & frontier markets.
  • Proactively support the OTC, FX & Repo pipeline, ensuring all required brokers are available to trade for the relevant fund/account by the deadline stated.
  • Maintain accurate and current database of ISDA and GMRA documentation.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationship with LGIM Legal team.
  • Participate in other aspects of the OTC/broker operational onboarding process as required.
  • Ensure integrity of data within systems maintained by the team.
  • Provide effective support to stakeholders and other operational teams.
  • Work closely with internal/external clients to continuously assess their requirements. Ensure service level agreements are adhered to.
  • Maintain good relationships with external counterparties; regularly review outstanding issues to ensure a high level of service is provided.
  • Adhere to current procedures, controls and checklists but also continually monitor to proactively identify improvements to the control and risk environment relating to the Counterparty Onboarding function; recommend and implement procedural and processchanges.
  • To assist with new developments to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Contribute to projects alongside BAU to achieve team or broader organisation targets.
  • Work within hard deadlines.
