It will move us forwards in activating our brand through rich and engaging content, bringing to life our unique and distinctive purposein all our activity to our colleagues, clients, and customers.The role will create and own the group content strategy and calendar, using insight and performance metrics to plan, execute and refine content across a range of digital and offline media.This role will work across the full brand portfolio ensuring we are on brand, clear consistent and compelling in all our communications and touchpoints, developing and implementing a house style for content.What would your day look like

  • Create and own the group content strategy and calendar that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short and long term, determining which methods work for each brand within the group portfolio
  • Set up Content Forum, working with key stakeholders across the marketing team and wider business to plan, craft, execute and measure content to deliver business results
  • Create and maintain our house style and tone of voice across various touch points, providing expert guidance on the development and deployment of multiple audience messaging across multiple channels and audiences
  • Create and own a repository of approved on-brand content for use across the wider business.
  • Provide trusted editorial guidance on our internal and external communications. Youll also support the Head of Brand in content meetings, groups and annual report preparation
  • Produce short and long form written content for a variety of media such as white papers, thematic campaigns, web copy, blog posts, sales collateral, case studies, landing pages etc. working closely with the digital team to optimise for SEO
  • Conducting research and competitor analysis to ensure our content is relevant and compelling within our target markets
  • Champion the voice of the brand across social media by crafting and shaping great stories that drive traffic and generate engagement
  • Support retention activity through writing compelling existing customer content
  • Develop and deliver a range of content assets to drive brand awareness, consideration
  • Be the go-to person for content and story led guidance ensuring that we bring our brand to life in our approved style and tone of voice
What do we expect of you
  • A content expert with experience of creating and managing content strategy
  • Polished writer able to write for multiple audiences across a B2B2C landscape
  • Demonstrable experience of writing at pace for digital and offline media
  • Experience of writing both long and short form content
  • Knowledge of performance drivers for content driven marketing
  • Able to identify content opportunities that bring to life our brand
  • Led by insight to enable us to support and adapt our content strategy and plans
  • Strong collaborator who is constructive and helpful
  • Strong creative eye and flair that brings and attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator, able to build strong and productive working relationships across organisations
