Job Description

What youll be doingAs the CNC setter / CNC operator, you will set up and operate various machines; your duties will include: -
  • Setting up and running CNC machines, including Lathes and VMC machines
  • Ensuring safety within the work area
  • Meeting quality standards
  • Operating other manual equipment
To apply for the CNC setter / CNC operator position, you will need: -
  • Experience with either CNC-controlled lathes or vertical milling centres.
  • Ideally, a time-served apprenticeship.
In return, youll receive.An hourly rate of £15.62 per hour, please shift allowance (16.10% for mornings & afternoons, 31% for nights), overtime is paid at time and a half for Monday to Saturday and double time on a Sunday. On average, you can earn an extra £4,500 in overtime throughoutthe year. Annual salary can vary depending on how the shift pattern falls.Benefits include a 7.5% company pension contribution, 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays), life assurance, and free on-site parking.Youre working hours.You will work a 3-week rotation, Monday to Friday. Week 1 - mornings, Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 2 pm, 6 am to 12.45 pm Fridays. Week 2 - afternoons, Monday to Thursday, 2 pm to 10 pm, Friday 12.45 pm to 7.30 pm.
