Job Description

We are supporting our client to recruit a Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Working to provide support to the UK Business. On a day to day basis you will provide support the accounting team and more specifically the Management Accountant.Client DetailsThe client is a global manufacturing & technology company who provides smart technical parts and solutions in the forms of managed services or singular products.DescriptionAs the Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Working you will:

  • Maintain the financial books and records
  • Perform sales and purchase invoicing
  • Payment processing and administration
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts in line with the relevant accounting policies
  • Month end prepayment and accrual calculations
  • Preparing journals for review
  • Preparation and assistance with supporting schedules
  • Assist in the production of balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Undertake financial analysis and production of supporting financial and non-financial reports
  • Liaising with other Group Finance functions to ensure accuracy and completeness in reporting
  • Undertaking financial administration
  • Assistance with the annual audit process
  • Ensuring HMRC requirements and deadlines are met
  • Assessment and reporting against SLAs and KPis
  • Assist in the development of new finance and operation reporting tools
  • Ensure all financial processes are documented and up to date
ProfileThe successful candidate will have the following:
  • Studying towards an Accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, CIMA or AAT
  • Have experience of large integrated ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc)
  • Knowledge of UK Accounting regulations
Job OfferThe successful candidate for the Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Working role:
  • Be Based in Cardiff
  • Receive £23,000 -£26,000 Per annum
  • Generous Holiday and Pension
