Area Sales Manager - Painting & Decorating ProductsJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Painting & Decorating ProductsIndustry Sector: Area Sales Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Painting & Decorating, Painting Products, Paint, Wallcoverings, Wallpaper, Woodcare, Interiors, Contractors, Painting & Decorating Contractors, Sub-Contractors, MerchantsArea to be covered: South WalesRemuneration: £40,000 + bonusesBenefits: VW Transporter + comprehensive benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager - Painting & Decorating Products will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a comprehensive range of painting and decorating products such as paint, woodcare, wallcoverings and wallpaper
  • Majority of your time will be spent selling direct to trade via main contractors, sub-contractors and specialist painting and decorating contractors
  • A small portion of your time will be spent selling direct to end users / businesses such as: holiday parks, hotels and office spaces
  • You will be supported by Store Managers across multiple distributors / stores in South Wales
  • Will be required to contribute to store sales of circa £5m+
  • Territory with be the whole of South Wales, ideally based between Cardiff, Swansea and Merthyr
    • The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Painting & Decorating Products with:
  • Must have a proven track record selling painting and decorating products such as painting and decorating products such as paint, woodcare, wallcoverings and wallpaper or related interior products
  • Must have experience selling B2B via main contractors, sub-contractors and painting & decorating contractors
  • Ideally some experience selling direct to the end user such as: holiday parks, hotels and office spaces
  • Must be able to generate new business relationships as well as manage existing relationship
  • Must have tons of energy and enthusiasm
  • Genuine credibility dealing with clients and able to utilise internal relationships
