Job Description

ClinicalAssessorSalary:£42,000 - £44,800Location:Homebased - Canning Town (E16)Permanent contractHours:Full-Time and Part-time hours available with flexible working hours from 8am - 8pm Monday to Sunday(pick your hours!)Training:We offer a training programme which is completely paid for which will also be down as a qualification once signed off.We are currently recruiting forhomebased cliniciansacross the UK who are seeking a new direction to working in traditional clinical roles.These positions are suitable forAdult Nurses (RGN, RMN and RNLD), Paramedics, Occupational Therapists andPhysiotherapist.Recognised by the NMC as clinical so youre able to maintain your NMC/HCPC pin from the comfort of your own home.Brief Summary of the Role:The role requires you to use your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge to conduct independent health assessments for people with physical, mental and learning disabilities claiming the benefit PIP writing reports which will then be sent toDWP.The role as DisabilityAssessoris a step away from the normal clinical role that does not involve providing treatment, diagnosing, decision making, or hands-on care, however, you will still be utilising and building upon your clinical knowledge and skills,completing in depth assessments, and writing accurate and detailed reportsRequirements for this Role:

  • No previous Disability Assessor experience is required as training is completely provided. However, previous experience is essential.
  • Occupation who meets the criteria: Adult NursingRGN, RMN RNLD, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist. Must have 1 years professional registration.
  • Must be IT Literate able to use a computer, MS packages etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with the general public
  • Appropriate workspace within the home setting that allows you to successfully complete your role as well as having somewhere completely confidential
Flexible with working hours - you can choose from:
  • Part-time working or Full-time working;
  • Flexible days and hours between Monday toFriday, 8am and 8pm
  • A flexible rota (provided 6 weeks in advance)

  • Occasional offers of day in lieu as well for specific bank holidays.
