Job Description

Are you looking for a temporary role in a fast-paced and dynamic construction firm Do you have experience in purchase ledger and excellent attention to detail If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are looking for a temp purchase ledger clerk to join our client based in the east end of Glasgow. You will be responsible for:- Processing and costing invoices from suppliers and subcontractors- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies- Preparing payment runs on a weekly basis and ensuring timely payments- Dealing with queries from suppliers and site staff in a professional and courteous manner- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and paymentsTo be successful in this role, you will need:- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel- Strong numerical and analytical skills- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines- Good communication and interpersonal skillsThe pay rate for this role is £13 per hour and the job will be fully office based.
