Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Cambuslang, are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Adviser for a 5- month contract on a rate of £150-200/day (outside of IR35). Remote working initially.The Role:Work as part of team of health and safety professionals to provide support to the Senior Health & Safety Adviser in ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective Health & Safety Service to all stakeholders.Requirements: ·NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.·Post qualification experience.·Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and its application.·Graduate Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Grad IOSH).·Working knowledge of MS Office.·Proven experience of health and safety management systems.·Proven experience of operating a systematic approach to managing health and safety.·Proven experience of working with trade unions and rep bodies.·Proven experience of technical health and safety problem solving in an analytical manner, identifying sensible and proportionate solutions.Desirable ·Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMISOH).·Firefighting experience.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
