Job Description

A rapidly growing company who are a leading provider of diagnostic soloutions worldwide, are looking to grow their team. Your new companyA rapidly growing diagnostic company who are a leading provider of diagnostic solutions across multiple markets including clinical diagnostics with state-of-the-art facilities with sites in Oxford, Cambridge and in over 50 countries worldwide.Your new roleYou will ensure that products are safe, effective and fit for purpose, thus allowing them to be available globally and state of the art. You will play an integral role on a wide range of tasks within the laboratory including collating internal technical and analytical performance data for a range of products.Other responsibilities will include:

  • Collating analytical data using in-house or external specimens as required
  • FISH processing, using Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded sections, haematological and prenatal specimens
  • Interpreting routine and complex data sets and making recommendations to more senior staff
  • Reporting analytical results and maintaining record and image databases
What youll need to succeed
  • BSc or above in a Science related field.
  • Hands on experience with manual microscopes
  • A good understanding of IVDR
  • Experience within a clinical diagnostic setting
  • Experience and a good understanding with Medical Devices and the relevant regulation 13485
