Job Description

We are working with a leading Robotics company based in Cambridge who are looking for a Senior Mechatronic Engineer to join their growing team. Working closely with the product and technology teams to assist with on-going product development, design andtesting. This is a full time permanent position and occasional travel could be required.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership of continual product design and development.
  • Take technical product lead on projects.
  • Oversee the companies CAD and PDM infrastructure.
  • Create cost effective design solutions.
  • Support junior team members.
  • Collaborate with wider teams to assist with system integrations.
The Successful candidate will have:
  • Mechatronic Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years experience with full product development and product lifecycle.
  • Experience with injection moulding, sheet metal, 3D CAD and Solidworks.
  • Experienced with cost analysis.
  • Exceptional organisational and communicational skills.
  • Experience with stakeholder management at multiple levels.
  • Experienced with Robotic manufacturing.
