Job Description

Position: Senior Machine Learning Scientist - FinanceLocation: CambridgeSalary: £90,000We are looking for a talented Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join our team in Cambridge. You will be at the forefront of leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge machine learning models and techniques in financial services.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models, algorithms, and solutions to solve complex problems.
  • Design and develop new solutions to improve existing machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets and interpret results to extract meaningful insights.
  • Create and maintain high-level documentation of the machine learning model development process.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the team to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of machine learning models and suggest improvements.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning technology.
Technical Skills Required
  • Expertise in Python, R, and SQL
  • Understanding of finance industry terminology and principles
  • Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques such as deep learning, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
