Job Description

Senior Embedded Software Consultant – Cambridge - £70,000 - £85,000 paAn award-winning design consultancy in Cambridge are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their design team specialising in medical device design & development.Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the whole product development life cycle
  • Be involved in business development activities for the software product
  • Communicating with clients, understanding & taking their requirements and turning them into practical product
  • Documentation of software architecture & design
  • Actively participate in business development activities to win new projects for the team
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Electronics/Computer Science or another relevant discipline
  • Embedded C/C++
  • RTOS/Bare-metal programming
  • Microcontrollers & peripherals
  • Medical device standards (IEC 62304, ISO13485 etc.)
  • Basic understanding of Electronics Circuits
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
  • Wireless technologies (BLE, Wi-Fi etc.)
  • Embedded Linux
