A global business based in Cambridge are looking for a Senior Accountant to support the wider business on a contract until June 2021 due to their continued growth.Working with a supportive senior management team youll be tasked with looking after various aspects of the finance function from supporting revenue accounting, review of revenue controllership and the legal rationalisation of entities within the UK.This role have several points of interaction across the wider finance team as you review forecast revenue against actuals and report on variances, working with the Group Financial Accountant to review large contracts in accordance to IFRS15 and the associated complexities. The control aspect comes in the form of reviewing contract balances (contract assets through to liabilities), taking full ownership of deliverables for the order entry function while keeping up to date with new system functionality.
