Job Description

QA Test Automation Engineer (Python Automation) Cambridge to £45kDo you enjoy breaking things and taking them apart so you can figure out how they work and put them back togetherYou could be joining a market leading tech company thats remote access product is used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide, working on a modern tech stack, continually learning and progressing your career in a supportive team environment.As a QA Test Automation Engineer you will help to ensure the quality of the web based client portal; youll identify and prepare test cases, develop these scenarios with Python automated tests and expand the automated test framework with additional featuresto drive them. You will also investigate test failures, analyse and verify bug fixes and review code developed by other Test Engineers.Theres a variety of project based work to get involved with including cloud based web technologies, backend APIs and desktop / mobile applications. Youll be using Python to code and Selenium WebDriver to test HTML, CSS, JavaScript and networking technologies.Youll join a collaborative Agile team with lots of training and career development opportunities.Location / WFH:Theres a friendly and supportive team environment, youll join colleagues in the Cambridge office 1-2 days a week with flexibility to work from home the rest of the week.About You:

  • You have Python coding skills and Test Automation experience
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are able to produce clear and concise bug reports and communicate with stakeholders
  • You have the aptitude and desire to learn, Computer Science degree would be great but not necessary if you have the right skills
  • It would be great if you also have a good knowledge of Networking, Mobile Testing or Selenium - but you can pick up knowledge on the job
